Cricut Wedding Cartridge .... you want it?

Hope your Monday has been a good one.  I didn't forget I said I would give a cartridge away this morning.... I decided I wanted to make a quick card with some images from the cartridge and show you some work with the Cuttlebug All In One system that you can get at a special price right now... check it out at the Cricut Blog. For this card I used the  Songbird set and the True Love set.    This is a great system to play with!  Go check out the Cricut Blog for a video on how it works!

Have you ever made a card that you really didn't like but decided to share it anyway?  That's me right now.  I'm just not too pleased with this one, but I really wanted you to see how to incorporate the All In One easily into your work.

Card details:
Cricut Cartridge: Wedding cartridge
Cuttlebug All In One systemSongbird set and the True Love set.
Paper:  American Crafts cardstock, The Girls Paperie patterned paper
Pearls are from Teresa Collins

Now lets give away a cartridge. There were so many responses to the launch of the Cricut Blog that I wanted to have another giveaway right away.  Thanks to Provo Craft I have a Wedding cartridge to give one of my followers.  The tag shape, heart and scroll on the card above are from this cartridge.  This cartridge is perfect for wedding projects, but great for so much more!

To have a chance to win this cartridge, followers that leave an answer here telling me What kind of wedding do you prefer?  Fancy smancy, laid back and casual, destination, Justice of the Peace, .....?  Tell me what you would like for yourself, your child, or maybe the best wedding you've attended.   As always, share the news of my giveaway somewhere for another chance to win.

I'll draw a winner next Monday, May 30th.

In the meantime, have a great week everyone!

  1. I loved my own the best :) It was a black and white wedding where we asked all of the guests to come in black and white too. It wasn't black tie, but it was semi-formal.

FYI, the picture above the cart is from Tie the Knot, which I have and LOVE, but I don't have wedding solutions! :) Thanks for the chance!

  3. I kind of like laid back and casual these days. My daughter is actually getting married in August and they've decided they're hippies for the most part. Still doing the beautiful gown and tuxes...but a hippie couple will be the cake topper that I have yet to make. There will also be some tie-dyed fondant on it. Small and cozy, but I would sure love to win this cartridge!!!

  5. I actaully like something inbetween laid back and fancy, i don't like when it is way to casual and I don't like it when it feels like a huge production!!(been to both types) Thanks for the chance to win!!

  6. I said in a post I think yesterday, that we are our worst critics. The card you made is stunning!!!
    Re; Wedding Question
I want a peaceful wedding that will not require me to be overly stressed when I plan it. I want a ceremony that will allow me the opportunity to gaze into my soulmate's eyes. Preferably outside because they sparkle such a beautiful hue of hazel best in the sunshine. One where the weather is nice, not to hot, not too cold. I want my small number of guests to be comfortable. I don't want to be wearing layers and layers of dress either. That's just not me. So I guess, outside&cool weather, not fancy shmancy but not gunshot either, short and sweet and too the point, but with vows that we have written for each other. Ok, I will stop now. You just really got me thinking about it and now I guess it is in writing.
Thanks for the chance to win.

  7. I think you are far too critical of your card. It's lovely. Love destination weddings. Definitely interested in the new all in one folder for cuttlebug. Always something new. Yeh!!!

  8. Pretty colors! Very nice card. I prefer laid back and casual, or even tiny, just the bride, groom and a couple of family members or friends. I'd certainly enjoy this cartridge. I have needed 3 wedding cards in the last month alone! I'm running out of ideas. Thanks for the chance to win.

  9. As long as the people getting married are happy and in love with each other (even if that person is me) I love laid back and fun weddings, they don't have to cost an arm and a leg.

  12. Thanks for yet another great giveaway Cindy!! Your card is beautiful, but I do know how it feels to not comepletely love a project when it is done! LOL! I had an elegant December wedding (13 years ago), I wore a big puffy white dress and had red flowers everywhere! It was truly beautiful and romantic! Now, my 7 year old DD loves to sketch fashion and she has been designing wedding pieces! Too cute! I would want something elegant for her, but in a fun way to bring out her personality....she wants a buffet at friendly's....at least we have plenty of time to think on that....lol!!! Thanks for a chance to win!

She is new to scrapbooking and what a wonderful way to grow our relationship as mother-in-law and daughter-in-law!! Thanks for the opportunity to win this cart!!!

  14. I'm not much for hoopla, so I eloped lol. If I had do to over, I'd probably still elope, but have a family style reception.

  15. Ours was formal and beautiful AND it did NOT cost us hardly anything. A friend of my parents was a professional seamstress and she made my beautiful wedding dress as her gift to us. A friend of Bob and I made wonderful desserts and she asked to bake our cake as her gift. The flowers in the Church were done by another friend as a gift. The singer and organist were a friend and relative and they also offered their services as a gift. So almost all was given in love to us.

Our sons had beautiful but more casual weddings. One was held in a beautiful gardens and the other was in front of a fireplace at a Bed and Breakfast.

    Your card is beautiful.

  19. I love weddings with personal touches. At ours we had baseball pennants on the tables and came into the reception with the imperial march and under lightsabers.

  22. Cool! Thanks for the chance to win! I like a formal but laid back wedding. On that is very go with the flow, where no one is pent up about the details not getting exactly right. The favorite wedding I have ever been too was... my own! :) Seriously loved my wedding day. Plus I had a candy bar. Who can go wrong with candy set up like a buffet?? :)

  23. I really loved my wedding (and not just because it was mine! lol). It was very laid back. Girls wore black dresses, guys wore basic tuxes. Wedding party all wore sunglass, plain for the guys, and rhinestones for the gals, and got married outside on the patio of a golf course just as the sun began to set. It made for some very nice pictures. :)

  31. I love a wedding with the perfect combination of Romantic and Religion. The bride and groom, with their family and friends in the House of the Lord. Then on to a celebration that has lots of fun, good food, and great decorations, (without breaking the bank!) Thus, a Wedding Cartridge would be the perfect thing to have♥

  36. I absolutely loved my own wedding but I would have done a few things different. First, I'd have hired a professional photographer. That's the only part I really wish Id' done right in the first place. My husband and I have been married for 11 years, we've been together for 14. If i had it to do over again, I'd renew our vows on the beach in a super simple ceremony. Barefoot with a very simple dress. I'd also have my husband in casual light colored clothes and barefoot as well. Ahhh, it sounds so wonderful!!!! It makes me wish I could do it again right now!!! :)

Great giveaway too, I really like the look of this cart as it is just enough to create the perfect wedding album or stationary.
My wedding really was the Justice Of The Peace type, there was just myself, hubby and both sets of parents. I don't regret doing it this way but I would love my kids to have a more fun and enjoyable wedding however or wherever they choose to do it.

  42. Some friends had the wedding party play 18 holes of golf. The bride and
Groom were in the last foursome. Everyone circled the green on 18th
Hole and they were married right by the flag. The people that did not
Play golf still enjoyed the wedding and the bigparty in the club
    House.
Now that is a celebration to remember. They are still very much
    In love and playing golf.

  66. Your card is so sweet!! Love it!! I've been married for almost 20 years and we just went to our pastor and got married in the church with us two and the pastor. We didn't want to spend so much money on pomp and circumstance when all that matters is that two people love each other and want to commit to one another for life. We celebrated later with friends and family and they were happy we did it that way. It puts a lot of pressure on your friends and family too when you put on a big "shindig" because they want to look perfect and bring the perfect gift, etc., etc.

Thank you for the chance to win this cartridge. It is really cute!
