A Friend in Need

An unlikely pair, Herbert and Bigsby, but it certainly looks like Bigsby is taking good care of Herbert. A super image by Karen's Doodles.


This card is 5 x 7 and though I always make boxes for my cards, they are always square. It took just a minute of calculating to come up with the measurements and low and behold, the card fit in the box nicely! I used the coordinating paper from the card to make the box top. No stitching or layers, just the DP.


I certainly tested my abilities to sew straight with this card. One thing you have to do when you stitch down the stripes is to sew straight!

    You are truly an artist - your cards are absolutely exquisite. I can't remember when I was so inspired by anyone. After viewing your designs,I made a card for a friend with matching box last week end. It took me over 6 hours to lay it out and put it all together. It was truly a labor of love, I just had to say THANKS for being such an inspiration!!!
