Image is a vintage print. I kept the stitching simple with straight stitching and zig zags... my preferences for stitching on cards. I added some Cuttlebug folder dry embossing, as well as a Cricut cut sewing machine paper embellishment. There are various buttons, to include the tiny regular buttons and a couple of pearl buttons used for flower centers. The pink flower with a gold center is a button and the sewing machine in the lower right corner is a button, too!

Materials: Bazzill, Coredinations, Vintage print, buttons, flower punch, beaded lace, sewing machine, cricut, cricut heritage cartridge.

ReplyDeleteThis card is absolutely stunning. You have put so much detail into it. I could look at it for hours. I love the vintage print of the girls. And all the sewing, wow it sure adds appeal. I haven't yet embarked onto the sewing machine. But one day, I will and there will be no going back. Thanks for your inspiration. This is a piece of art.
ReplyDeleteJust discovered your site. Your cards are stunning. Thanks for the tips on stitching on cards. I have been wanting to do this but wasn't sure how to go about it. I know I could have just experimented, but I'm one who likes direction. What can I say, I read the manual before using any new gadget :-)
