Gift Giving @ Angel's Landing
This week's Design Team theme for Angel's Landing is Gift Giving and we were asked to create a bag, envelope, box, whatever, on the line of giving gifts. I made a box bottom bag with Core'dinations cardstock, dry embossed with one of this season's Cuttlebug embossing folder releases. I went back to the Penguin Chicks set from Angel's Landing for my image. I just love those penguin chicks!
I printed and colored my penguin choice twice with Copics and layered it to give some dimension. The snowflakes are Cricut cut and covered with Martha Stewart glitter.
The 'Let it snow' sentiment is from the same Angel's Landing set and I glittered the snow on top.
The handle is made by edging both sides of a strip of cardstock with the EK Success Scalloped Scallop Edger Punch, matching the top and bottom trim on the bag. It's fastened onto the bag with big brads. I then glued little Cricut cut snowflakes to the tissue paper as a finishing touch.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Your visits are appreciated! Be sure to stop by the other Design Team blogs, listed on my left sidebar or at the Angel's Landing blog, to see some fabulous gift giving ideas.
