Knock, knock!! Who's there?

I decided to push myself and my Cricut and figure out how to make a door to open to reveal the image. This is what I was able to come up with. The door and wreath on it are Cricut cuts from the Christmas Noel cartridge. There are a few layers of various colors of paper in areas to give the door dimension. The window layer is acetate. I used a brad through a small pony bead to give height to the door knob. The hinges are Cricut cuts, secured with brads. I evenly spaced horizontal scores on the background paper to give illusion of siding on a house. Other than the wreath on the door and the metallic stitching, I didn't want to embellish the card front too much and take away from the door.

Behind the door is the printed image of Nesbit of Digital Delights by Louby Loo, colored with Copics.

Materials:
Paper: Bazzill, Misc, acetate
Image: Digital Delights by Louby Loo
Ink/Color: Printer, Copics
Misc: Cricut, Christmas Noel cartridge, Fabulous Findings cartridge, brads, pony bead, sewing machine, gold metallic thread.
