A Walk Through the Park - Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot style

Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot is having it's first ever Festival of Lights that starts today and you are invited to take a Walk through the Park. On your journey you will see some fantastic creations by the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot Design Team, lighting your way.

In addition to the fabulous projects, we have decided to hide treasure along the hop! Selected Designers will draw random winners from the comments left on their blogs in the hop. Treasure to be won are a $30.00 gift certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps and a free year subscription to Technique Junkie , sponsored by Pat Hunton. We’re not telling you which Designers are hiding the treasure, so as you hop make sure you leave comments on every post so you have a chance to win!! I've created two light projects for you... first, this lantern made of paper, powered by a battery operated 'tea light'. This was so fun to make and not too difficult with my Cricut. The trees and snowflakes are Cricut cut and the roof is Cuttlebug embossed Core'dinations whitewash paper using one of the new Christmas embossing folders.

My second light project is a very simple one using a candle jar with a votive holder inserted in the top. The inside of the globe jar has a little 'snow' in it and some Cricut cut trees and churches. The band around the top is Core'dinations whitewash paper embossed with a new Christmas Cuttlebug embossing folder. I also stamped some white snowflakes on the outside of the globe jar.
