Karen's Doodles Challenge #14 - embossing

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I know! Too short!!   Here it is already Monday.  Monday's mean another new challenge starting at Karen's Doodles US Challenge blog.  This week we are embossing. I'm dry embossing, but it can be any type. 

I have chosen Karen's Mermaid image and colored her with Copics.  My background cardstock is embossed with Cuttlebug Swirls folder.The waves at the bottom are Cricut cut, as is the 'sea weed' going up the right edge and the sail boat at the top.

I put a light layer of Shimmerz on the Mermaid.

The inside of the card is also treated with some dry embossing at the bottom and some more Cricut cut waves... these are actually the left over pieces from cuts.
