I used my electronic die cutter and cut these treat boxes from double sided pattern paper. My go-to adhesive for boxes, so I know they won't come undone, is Helmar 450 Quick Dry. Once I cut and assembled my boxes, I got into the fabulous assortment of ribbons from Ribbon Carousel, layered, looped, wrapped and tied them to embellish my boxes. Ribbon is secured on the boxes with the 450 Quick Dry - it doesn't show through. It's perfect!
For this box, I wrapped a wide, sheer ribbon around the middle and tied a thick, luxurious ribbon through the top holes. Usually, I might fiddle with the ribbon to be sure the same side of the ribbon is showing on the loops, but with this I totally wanted one loop black revealed and the other purple revealed (sorry picture looks more blue). Finishing touch of a 'get candy' sentiment sticker.

This one, again, ribbon wrapped around the middle and then baker's twine through the top holes. I then took a piece of the orange/black checked ribbon and created loops, gluing in place with 450 Quick Dry as I went, then glued it to the box. Finishing touch of a button with twine and a 'haunted' sticker sentiment.

For this one, I wrapped this really awesome webbed ribbon around it, layering black and then a very narrow checked ribbon. The narrow ribbon also went through the holes at top with a couple of pony beads threaded on it. Finishing touch of '{trick or treat} sentiment sticker and pumpkin sticker.
