Monogrammed Frame with Fontopia

It's new release time over on the Cricut Blog and I've been working with the new Fontopia cartridge.  I took a 12 x 12 wood frame with a 4 x 4 opening and added an R to to it. 

  

I painted the frame and did some inking and misting, including using the leaf branches I cut as masks before I adhered them to the frame.  Mixed media is a lot of fun and allows me to stray from my usual precision.

Fontopia has crests, cards, a font with layers, as well as the ornate monograms.
