For me it is hands down the Saurkraut. I will not have Turkey without the Saurkraut. Love the Mashed taters too.. Here is the recipe:
ReplyDeleteYou put Saurkraut on your fork first, then a piece of turkey and insert in mouth!!
Saurkraut can be microwaved, cooked on stove WITH juices in can.. Do not drain or rinse your saurkraut please!! OR you can fry it in a pan and it gets a really great carmalized taste.

I love all the sides at Thanksgiving, but my son's favorite side is Dill Corn. 2 cans of corn, heated and drained, 1 block of cream cheese mixed in until melted and 2 Tbs of dill weed. Mix well and serve warm. Delicious! Thank you for offering this awesome cart.

Gee, only one side dish?:) Ours is cranberry sauce, rice, rolls, and gravy. I only cook for my DD and DH and me, so our table doesn't have too many side dishes on it. Although, at my family's house, it was rice croquettes, and potato pie and stuffed mushrooms and all of those yummy things!!
